Ask about how God meets people at the point of their need, how He satis?es their hearts desires to the letter, and Mrs. Nwando Agbe would tell her astounding testimony. It is the classic testimony of God attending to every of our individual heart cry and desire. Her story is simple but clearly evident of the goodness of God. Agbe got married at the age of 25 with the hope that she would be done with child bearing at the age of 30. Three years later at 28, she had not been pregnant once. Instead of that, she has had a myomectomy, which is the removal of fibroids from her womb. This was followed by years of treatment and the shattering doctor’s report that the shape of her womb was abnormal.
In spite of all this, Mrs Agbe held on to the promises of God. She refused to let go of the word of God, although the arrangement to stop having children at the age of 30 appeared shaky at this point. God however had a different plan for her.
I have been married since December 2007, and as at early January 2008, I had already started going to the hospital. I was diagnosed with ?broid and began to receive treatment. A?er a while, I was advised to go for an operation which I obliged. After the surgery, I was expecting pregnancy, but it never came. So I began hoping in the Lord and waiting on Him. I kept asking questions because I got married at 25 and had had a deal to be through with having children at 30. At 29 when I was yet to have even one, I began to ask if it could be possible again for me to be through with having all my children by age 30. I began to ask God what exactly was happening.
My husband and I decided to go for a checkup and the doctor disclosed that the shape of my womb was a bit di?erent. I just kept holding unto God and was expecting my miracle.
In October 2011, I had a delayed period and I believed I was pregnant. I called my doctor and he said I should come for a pregnancy test on a Thursday. I was afraid to go because I was feeling as if I was going to have my period. However that same morning (Thursday) a friend invited me for Thursday Showers. So I decided to go for Showers instead of the pregnancy test and as I was stepping into the church, I felt like I was having a cramp but I concentrated more on the awesome praise and worship on my knees.
I worshipped God that day and in tears, I made a vow to God that if He could help me get pregnant for the first time in my life, I would come back to testify and indeed He honoured His word. On Saturday morning, I went for the pregnancy test and I was indeed declared “pregnant.” I was later scheduled for an eight week scan to know how the embryo was doing and to my surprise, the doctor found out that I was having triplets in my womb.
My husband couldn’t believe it; all he could say was that it’s too much. God was with me and I carried the babies all through like a Hebrew woman. I only went for ante-natal class and for delivery. God is indeed faithful; I was delivered of two boys and a girl at exactly age 30. Our God is a covenant keeping God.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
