At the Anointing service for May 2015, Brother Patrick Ihenzuo, who lost his job early 2014 and had an accommodation issue, testified about how he miraculously got a job and a better accommodation.

A testimony was read of how God enabled a sister get pregnant without ovulating- which was caused by polycystic ovary syndrome (where cysts kept bursting into her ovaries). Another testimony was shared of a brother who got an amazing offer to own his landed property in a choice area of the state after series of attack from armed robbers. Put together, these testimonies buoyed up the confidence of the congregation in the ability of God to answer to all their prayers.

Pastor Taiwo, in his message, said that the Supernatural intervention in a man’s life always defies experts’ explanation. This supernatural answers, according to him, are gotten by those who are not weary in asking, seeking and knocking relentlessly. Speaking from Matthew 7:7-11 and Jeremiah 33:3, the man of God said that solutions are never found until there is a request or search. “Your answers are informed by your asking, seeking and knocking,” he said.

According to the man of God, leaping in faith yields supernatural answers and a believer’s faith is the leaping part of him or her towards God. “You don’t need to be an expert at leaping, just leap and He will catch you,” he said.

Using prophet Elijah in I kings 17:1-23 as an example, he said that if people, especially believers could just trust God and follow His instructions without trying to think for Him, they would record supernatural answers just as prophet Elijah was fed by ravens and later by a poor widow, all because he obeyed and followed God’s instructions. “Don’t question when it is God, just obey and follow,” he said.

He further used biblical examples of Jehoshaphat (2 Chronicles 18:31 & 20:3), Jabesh (1 Chronicle 4:9-10), Jesus’ disciples (Mark 4:38-39), and blind Bartimaeus (Mark 10:46-52) to show that God responds to those who call upon Him in their distress. “He knows what you need but He wants you to ask,” he said.

He therefore urged everyone never to stop calling on God in whatever situation they find themselves because “If you seek His help, He will answer you,” he said.

He concluded the message by leading the congregation into a prophetic prayer session after which everyone was anointed.
