In 2006 I was living abroad in my final year on the hospital ship. I’d been moonlighting by building a new business, and later that year I’d move back to the U.S. and relocate to Seattle.
First John 4:18 says, “…because fear has torment….” Way back home in South Africa, I knew this family that had daughters who would go to the river to fetch water for the general use of the family. They had this strong belief that water should not be brought into the house once it was dark because when you do, you inadvertently bring evil spirits into the house.
