Being our Month of Supernatural Progress, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, at the anointing service addressed the congregation on the need to constantly focus on what matters most in life which is God’s Word.
He equated the Word to be God’s Presence and that as the church (the body of Christ), if we stay true to His Word in lieu of hypocrisy, we’ll see His miracles in our lives.
Taking his scripture reading from Gen. 26:1-14, 1Tim. 4:15, Luke 2:52, He said, the Bible never promised us victory outside joy. But in spite of the prevailing famine, the challenges we might be facing, so far we are growing and increasing, our victory is guaranteed.
“Favour Grows. It’s the nature of the Kingdom to start small and keep growing…so far it is the covenant of God through the Blood of Jesus, you are unstoppable!”, he said emphatically.
He went further to say, “God bless those who increase. Until we cooperate with God over what matters in our lives, the blessings won’t locate us.” Pastor Taiwo explained that Isaac in Genesis 26 obeyed God’s instruction to stay in the land, despite the famine, he sowed and reaped a 100-fold that same year, and God blessed him exceedingly until the Philistines envied him. Just like Joseph, Daniel, and Esther, they work in the same covenant such that Kings envied them.
In conclusion, the man of God emphasized the need to constantly exercise our faith and believe in God’s word. He said “Your faith walk is an ‘expectation walk’ and so if you believe it, you have to declare it as prayer alone has no power of its own but our constant stay in His presence is what makes all the difference—intimacy with God is the name of the game.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
